SAGUENAY FJORD
Fjord, rivers, whales, nature, tides. The Saguenay Fjord is a classic sea kayaking destination in Canada. One of few protected marine areas in the country, the Saguenay Park is home to the southernmost beluga whale population in the world. Beautiful campsites, astonishing cliffs, fun kayaking playground. This is the place where two rivers meet: the Saguenay and the Saint Lawrence.

DESCRIPTION:
In this KLN adventure we travel down the Saguenay river from Ste-Rose du Nord to the town of Tadoussac over 7 days. On our way down we camp on the beautiful sites maintained by the SEPAQ (Quebec Parks). The Saguenay is a tidal river co-managed by Parks Canada and Quebec. The park is home to resident beluga whales and right where the Saguenay meets the Saint Lawrence we find one of the richest sea environments of the world. Immense cliffs carved by water created this beautiful fjord. In this KLN trip you will discover a magic tidal world and a fine paddle destination.
PRICE INCLUDES:
Camping and accommodations. All meals and snacks. Shuttle back to your vehicle from Tadoussac to Ste-Rose du Nord on day 7, Professional Guiding and Coaching services, Park permits and Platforms reservation, Maps & Tide chart. All common camping gear (cooking and eating utensils, tarps, etc…)
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED:
Kayak and kayak related gear, Transportation to put in. Personal Camping Equipment (tent, sleeping bag, mattress, etc….), Personal paddling Clothing (dry suit or neoprene & paddle jacket combination, etc), tips.

Day 0 : Meet Up in Ste-Rose du Nord, Qc
Day 1 : Beginning of Kayak Trip in Ste-Rose du Nord
Day 2 – 6 : Kayak Trip
Day 7 : Last Kayak Day. Take Out at Tadoussac.
